The braking action is obtained without axial sliding of shaft and provided equal braking torque in both directions of rotations. Basically brake motor combination of an a.c. induction motor and a disc type, fail safe Electromagnetic brake unit. The IMB series covers products with outputs from as 0.18Kw to 11.0Kw in frame sizes 63 to 160L in 2, 4 & 6 pole speed. Brake motors are available in foot, Flange Mounting.
